Description

Still dont know what you want to write about? Come and brainstorm with us! We’ll talk about the Common App essay topics and engage in some writing exercises that will help you narrow in on a topic that is unique to you.

Following this general session, there will be one-on-one editing sessions available for students who wish to sign up on Saturday, October 7 and Tuesday, October 10. These one-on-one sessions are designed for students who have identified a theme and are in the process of writing a college application essay. Are you stuck somewhere in the middle? Do you have a draft that needs a fresh eye? Then sign up! And to make the most of your 30-minute session, email your draft ahead of time to teens@maplewoodlibrary.org, so that we can hit the ground running when you arrive.
